On the occasion of World Environment Day, our team actively participated in a clean-up and environmental awareness program at Swayambhu. The program began with a brief introduction highlighting the importance of nature conservation, environmental protection, and sustainable living.

During the campaign, we collected plastic bottles, food wrappers, and other waste materials from the Swayambhu area. We worked together to clean the surroundings and encouraged visitors to dispose of waste responsibly. We also discussed how protecting nature helps preserve biodiversity, reduce pollution, and maintain a healthy environment.

As Swayambhu is one of Nepal’s important cultural and tourist destinations, we learned that keeping such heritage sites clean and green supports eco-tourism. A clean environment creates a better experience for visitors while helping conserve Nepal’s natural and cultural heritage for future generations.

The program concluded successfully with the active participation of all members. It reminded us that even small individual actions can make a meaningful contribution to environmental conservation and sustainable tourism.
