Who can apply the program?
Globally Concern Center for Climate Change (G4C) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for individuals who wish to participate in our nature preservation programs. We believe that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility, and we welcome everyone who is willing to contribute their time, energy, and knowledge toward this vital cause.
Students at all levels from school to university are especially encouraged to apply. Participating in G4C programs offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in environmental work, develop a deeper understanding of climate change, and contribute meaningfully to real-world conservation efforts. It is a chance to go beyond the classroom and make a tangible impact in your community and beyond.
Researchers and academics working in the fields of environmental science, ecology, climate studies, or related disciplines are also warmly invited to join. G4C values evidence-based approaches to nature preservation, and the insights and expertise of researchers play a crucial role in shaping our programs and campaigns.
Beyond students and researchers, G4C also welcomes general members of the public anyone who holds a genuine concern for the natural world and wishes to take active steps toward protecting it. Whether your interest lies in tree plantation, community cleanup campaigns, or spreading awareness about environmental issues, there is a meaningful role for you within our organization.
Interested applicants may apply to participate in any of our three core programs: the Tree Plantation Drive, the Cleanup Campaign, or the Nature Awareness Program. Our Rules
Commitment, discipline, and respect
Must be punctual, dedicated, and consistent in fulfilling their assigned responsibilities. Attending scheduled programs on time, informing coordinators in case of absence, and treating fellow volunteers, staff, and community members with dignity and respect are fundamental expectations. A disciplined and respectful attitude ensures that G4C programs run smoothly and that every individual feels valued and heard.
Safety, responsibility, and environmental care
Must strictly follow all safety guidelines provided during field activities such as plantation drives and cleanup campaigns. Equally important is the responsibility to respect and protect the natural environment at all times avoiding littering, disturbing wildlife, or causing any harm to the ecosystems G4C works to preserve. As nature advocates, volunteers are expected to lead by example in every environment they work in.
Communication, integrity, and representation
Everyone are expected to communicate openly and honestly with the G4C team, share progress updates, and raise any concerns without hesitation. Maintaining the confidentiality of internal organizational information is essential. When representing G4C in public or on social media, volunteers must conduct themselves with integrity and ensure that any official statements are approved by the organization’s leadership before being shared.
I loved volunteering with G4C. I spent a morning cleaning rubbish off of roads in Kathmandu and then planted a tree in the foothills of the Himalaya in the afternoon. Such a wonderful mission and welcome to Nepal. I will definitely be back and can recommend PK Sherpa and his work to any travellers and locals alike.

Complete the official G4C volunteer application form available on the website or at the G4C office. Provide your personal details, educational background, area of interest, and the program you are applying for. Be honest and clear about your motivation for joining. Along with your application form, submit the necessary documents. These typically include a copy of your citizenship or ID card, a recent passport-size photograph, an academic certificate or institutional letter (for students and researchers), and a brief personal statement explaining your interest in nature preservation.
